📚 4-Way Test
The 4-Way Test is a guiding principle for Rotarians and Rotaractors worldwide to ensure ethical
and moral conduct in all their actions. It asks four simple yet profound questions:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
These principles encourage integrity, fairness, and service to society, forming the ethical
backbone of all Rotaract initiatives.
🌐 About Rotaract and Rotary (Key Differences)
Rotary International (RI):
A global network of business and professional leaders providing humanitarian service
and promoting goodwill and peace.
Established in 1905, Rotary focuses on large-scale international projects and policy-
making.
Rotaract:
A youth movement within Rotary, empowering young adults (18-30 years) to develop
leadership skills, serve communities, and build networks.
Rotaract clubs are community or institution-based and focus on grassroots-level impact.
