Routines involve everyday activities done by people, such as classroom routines like arranging seats, marking attendance, reviewing past topics, introducing and explaining new topics, answering questions, and maintaining discipline. Structure refers to how parts of a system or object are purposefully arranged. A community is a group of people who support each other and can include rural, urban, or suburban areas. Schools form partnerships with families and communities through parenting, communication, volunteering, learning at home, decision making, and collaborating with community resources. When schools actively involve parents and the community, they can better address students' health and learning needs.
