RTG Media Systems
The Media Problem As a rights owner, how do you monetize your media online? Blanket licenses are inefficient and favor global brands Territorial issues limit easy distribution 90% of monetization models are advertising only with low CPM and/or high revenue shares How does the market handle rights splits efficiently?
The Media Problem As a destination site how do you find good quality sticky content? Blanket licenses are expensive Negotiating rights item by item is not practical Territorial rights cause control issues Low CPM rates make ROI hard to achieve The internet is social... how can you legally syndicate through social media?
The Media Payments Problem Payment distributed goods is taken by the site serving content, not the content owner Credit and debit cards are expensive and risky to process Not suited to micro-payments Merchants assume 100% risk for online transactions Don’t work well with mobile payments Long settlement periods can affect cash flow for small merchants
The RTG Ventures Solution An application enabling rights owners to control, price & distribute their own assets to multiple platforms Monetization and distribution rules are pre-defined by owners and applied as media is distributed with rights management built-in Site owners can “subscribe” to content knowing that DRM is embedded and they can syndicate at will Owners get paid for what they sell, destination sites only pay for what they receive
Multiple built-in payment options including pay-per-view, rental, purchase and free-to-view (advertising supported) Rights splits built into the application so all rights holders are paid according to their ownership User-generated content (UGC) is no longer bootleg as rights can be applied to in the same way as it is with official video The Solution (2)
The Solution (3) Embed the payment methodology in the distributed media Facilitate bank-to-bank transactions Cheaper, faster, lower risk Make solution platform agnostic Let the consumer decide and offer options Pay by text or by card Chip and Pin transactions via smartphone smartcard reader

The Opportunity Cloud Channel will target live music online as its “beachhead” market. Why?
The Live Music Market Live Music is a large and growing market Artists want to take more control of their assets Live music video rights owners face a common set of problems There is a clear compelling need in this market
There is no definitive source of live music video online because it has been too difficult a problem for the market to address. Artists, managers, promoters and rights owners are losing millions of dollars a year in revenues by not exploiting past performances for revenue, merchandising sales and future ticket sales opportunities. Not any more.
RTG Ventures' total product offering enables live music video rights owners to stream content in any format to any digital video platform with monetization and rights management rules built in.
