Running for a Cure

Jo is running a marathon as part of Team in Training to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society supports people diagnosed with blood cancer, of which there are around 140,000 new cases per year in the US, accounting for about 10% of all cancer patients. Jo's South Bay Run Team hopes to raise $610,000 this year to help fund research and support programs.
