- 2. 1. Make sure 64X OS •To install SAP CRM 7.0, you need 64X Server operating system E.g. Windows Server 2003 X64 SP2 •While installing Windows Server 2003, please make sure to keep small computer name. E.g. “Server” Powerpoint Templates 11/6/2011 Page 2
- 3. 2. MS Loopback Adapter •Before you setup any SAP Environment you need to install Microsoft Loopback Adapter •You won‟t get any error if any network connection is active while installation (E.g. Install JVM & Set Environment Variables •Install Java Virtual Machine •Note: Before installing check the JVM version compatibility with SAP CRM 7.0 •Create below mentioned 3 new environment variables: 1. Database & Patch Installation •Considering Oracle 10.2.0 •Install Oracle 10.2.0 Database and make a note of Oracle Database Name, SID and Password •After database installation shutdown Oracle Instance and stop all the active oracle services 1. - 7. 5. SAP CRM 7.0 Installation 1. Start SAP CRM Installation 2. Enter System ID and Password 3. Browse and select the path for SAP CRM 7.0 Exports (E.g. Export 1 & Export 2) 4. Browse and select the path for SAP CRM Kernel directory 5. Browse and select the oracle client directory 6.
