The DepEd is undertaking a school mapping project to create a comprehensive database of school locations through crowdsourcing. The project will map public schools to enable various stakeholders to locate schools. It will use a phased approach, starting with DepEd employees then a public call. Users will upload GPS-tagged photos of schools through a website, which will process and publish the locations online within 2-3 days once verified. The project is currently in beta testing and will soon be announced to ICT coordinators.

- 10. Use Guidelines Register your DepED email address Email verification Upload photos that are no more than 1- MB in size Photos of school façade Inappropriate photos will NOT be allowed. Allow 2-3 days before location and photo is published
