This document discusses a proposed solar panel installation called Solar Ivy. It would be installed on the rooftops of the Kennecott Building and OSH Bookstore on campus. The solar array would be grid-tied and have a peak capacity of 3.24 kilowatts, offsetting electricity usage in the buildings. Individual solar panels would use Enphase microinverters. Utility savings projections show the installation reducing the buildings' electricity costs by thousands of dollars annually.
