- 2. Conventions The first conventions in this film is that the killer is dressed in a mask and this has been seen in other this genre(horror) films. Because it interests the audience to find out who is the person is. The other typical horror convention is about the lighting . In some scenes there was used Low Key Lighting and it creates mystery for the audience, “maybe someone is hided in the darkness”.
