- 2. What is Screaming Frog • The Screaming Frog SEO Spider is a website crawler, that allows you to crawl websites’ URLs and fetch key onsite elements to analyse from an SEO perspective. • Free Download, Easy to Install & then Use it. • Use on multiple systems at the same time.
- 3. How to Use It • Put the website in the tool, click on start button and it will extract all the on-site issues.

- 6. Robots File Once the tool will extract 100% or all of your website urls and issues, then on the right hand side, you will see this window. If robots file is implemented on the homepage, then the tool will not extract any page. If a specific page is blocked, then it will show you in this window.
- 7. Response Codes It tells about redirections, errors or responses given by server.
- 8. Protocol Types HTTP:// OR HTTPS:// Sometimes website urls are created using both type of protocols. This issue occurs if redirection is not properly implemented on the website. The above image shows that 3 urls are still present with HTTP://. where as the whole website urls are opening with HTTPS://
- 9. Website Title Tags The right side window gives the option to check all the SEO factors and in the main window , you will see all the website urls that having issue. • Missing • Duplicate • Over 65 Characters • Below 30 Characters • Same as H1 • Multiple
