Script for Blind Man`s Buff
- 1. Script The dark London streets. The music is tense. It is almost empty; the once busy streets are now cleared thanks to the fear of Jack the Ripper. The camera focuses on a house. It then cuts to the inside of the house. A body lies on the bed, the camera shows the body, but doesn’t show the face. It then closes up on the hand, which is bloody. Jack The Ripper (V/O) I was not codding dear old Boss when I gave you the tip, you'll hear about Saucy Jacky's work tomorrow double event this time number one squealed a bit couldn't finish straight off. It then cuts to the Chief Warden Brooking reading the letter. Alongside him is Detective Moore. As Brooking reads, it closes up on the letter, which looks old and written in ink. Chief Warden: Had not got time to get ears off for police thanks for keeping last letter back till I got to work again. Jack the Ripper He turns to Detective Moore. The camera closes up on Moore. It then cuts to a scene with Detective Moore stepping outside of Scotland Yard. Press Officer Carter runs up to him. Press Officer Carter: Detective Moore! Are there any words on the case? Detective Moore: (hesitates) we’re still working on it… (Walks away from her) Closes back up on the empty London Street, and then back into the house. This time, it closes up on the body, which is revealed to be a girl, Mary Jane Kelly. Her eyes are closed, and peaceful, but the rest of her – her body and her hands – are all bloody. Press Officer Carter (V/O): Another murder and the police are still baffled. Will this city of London
- 2. ever stop cowering in fear…from the bloodthirsty murderer that is Jack the Ripper? A caption appears: Super Nova Presents Detective Moore is sat at a table. A gun is on the table. Detective Moore: I’ve heard that…you’re the person to see about…Jack the Ripper? A voice comes from the other end of the table, which is dark and shadowed. Detective Abbelline: You could say that. (He picks up the gun, and goes more into the light, revealing his face. He smiles.) You having trouble then? The music turns into a more action themed, and it shows Abbelline and Moore chasing a dark hooded figure down the streets of London. Many close ups on Abbelline and Moore as they run down the street. Caption: Charlie Nicholson As they run further down the street and into the alleyway, they gain on the Ripper. Caption: Ciaran Pinnell Finally they chase him to the corner. It turns out to be more than one dark hooded figure – The League of Rippers. The camera closes up on the first Ripper as he turns. He takes out a knife and swipes it at the camera, as if the camera is a POV. As he swipes the knife, a caption comes up: Caption: Jordan Pace Caption: Blind Man’s Buff Coming Soon
