Veera Serebrova wrote a short story about four teenagers - Hamda, Ola, Ayan and Ammu - who enter an abandoned house past curfew. The dark, run-down house has peeling wallpaper and no electricity. Ayan nervously suggests they leave and tell someone, but Ammu reminds them they entered to look for their friend Azam. The story sets up intrigue around why the teens are in the abandoned house past curfew and what they may discover.

![INT. ABANDONED HOUSE. MIDNIGHT.
HAMDA[17, tall,dark hair, wears blue jeans and a tank top],
OLA[18,tall, wears natural makeup and an eyeliner,pale,
wears sports costume] , AYAN[17,short, blonde,wears
tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt]and AMMU[19,tall,light
brown hair,wears black jeans and a shirt] enter an odd
looking abandoned house. It is dark and the only lighting
they have is a phone torch. Leftover wallpaper is stripping
down the wall, there is no electricity and a half destroyed
staircase.
AYAN
(nervously)
Are you sure we need to do this
guys. Lets comeback and tell
someone! It is now past a curfew
time.
Ayan looks around hopefully for someone to reply. His eyes
met with Ammu's.
AMMU
Why did you come along in the
first place. If you worry so much
about tresspassing a curfew, you
might aswell go back. We are here
to look for Azam if you don't
remember.
