Differences in the level of development between DCs and LDCs
Economic well-being Income per capita Employment opportunities
Income per capita Used to refer to the distributation of items such as  Money Food  land When we put the term ‘per capita’ to an amount. We are applying to each person in a specific country or place. The average amount of money earned by a person is known as ‘income per capita’.
Is he poor or rich? What future hold for him?
 
Formula  Total income genrated in a    country in one year   GDP per capita=  Total population GDP refers to the total income generated by a country in one year
Employment structure Shows the proportion of the workforce in three main employment. Primary  Secondary  Tertiary
 
 
 
 
Primary industries Extracting or gathering of natural resources  such as logging, mining and agriculture is carried out.
 
 
 
Secondary industries Involves the manufacturing or production of goods from raw materials  such as garment or shoes manufacturing.
 
Tertiary industries Is made up of the sales sector and the provision of services  such as banking, teaching and tourism.
