This paper addresses key management in cluster-based mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) through the proposed ID-based Multiple Secrets Key Management scheme (IMKM) and the Equalized Cluster Head Election Routing Protocol (ECHERP). The protocols focus on secure communication, energy efficiency, and management of encryption keys while enhancing the resilience of the network amid the challenges posed by dynamic environments and limited resources. Detailed simulations and evaluations are presented to support the proposed protocols' effectiveness in improving security and network lifetime.
