- 1. Self-evaluation Personal- strengths: Before I did this assignment, I collected several situations about children and think about what strategy is suitable for the situation. Then I tried to use the strategies to solve the problems and asked some feedback from the teachers in the room. During I was doing the assignment, I read the book and the handout, and think about the assignment clearly. Personal-weakness: First, I still cannot use the strategy very well and I need to improve. Sometimes, I cannot figure out which strategy is the most suitable for the situation. Second, I think I should have more communication with my ECE teachers, so that I can get more suggestions. Third, when I was use the strategy, I think my verbal and non- verbal languages are not positive enough. Discussion of the learning: First, this assignment can improve my observation skill and the skill of solving problem for children. I can figure out what I should improve during solving the situation. Second, during this assignment, I can realize what I have learned from the class more clearly and connect the knowledge to the real situation. Third, I can improve myself to be more confident, use positive language to talk with children, help them to build up good behavior development and guide them to be friendly, gentle to each others.
