Erin Dowling was born in Ontario, Canada in 1993 as an only child and moved frequently during her childhood, living in Connecticut, Bahrain for 6 years, and back to Canada and Bahrain before permanently settling in Chesapeake, Virginia in high school. She attended Greenbrier Intermediate and Middle School and Indian River High School where she played volleyball and swam, was accepted to multiple universities, and ultimately chose to attend Old Dominion University to stay close to family and because she loved the area. Erin is now a senior at ODU and lives in Virginia Beach with her boyfriend and dog, Duke.
