- 30. Communication via SNMP SNMP cards are used to connect UPS’s to a Network or the internet. Once installed, it is possible to control the UPS remotely and to manage the automatic shutdown of several connected servers. Easy Installation : Once the SNMP card is connected to the UPS and to a network, the user needs to install a simple software (included) to assign an IP adress to the card.
