NEUROLINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING TECHNIQUES (NLP)
Gemma Sala Grau
Neuro: All behavior is a result of neurological
processes. In this way, the learning uses our neural
network as for storage as to express themselves.
Linguistics: It ’ s the expression, the echo of what
happens in our nervous system and, at once, how it
impacts on us and on the listener, is our
communication tool (verbal and nonverbal).
Programming: For each thing we do have a program.
Our learning has a coded and ordered translation in
the brain and nervous system. As reinforcing it
become behavior’s patterns.
NLP: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
ORIGINS OF NLP
Origin in the 70s
Two geniuses: John Grinder y Richard Bandler
They discover how they work the mechanisms of
excellence
They detect procedures and specific communication
patterns
NLP: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
PRESUPPOSITIONS OF NLP
•The map isn’t the territory
•The ability to change the process by which we experience
reality is more often valuable than changing the content of
our experience of reality
•The meaning of your communication is the response you get
•Feedback vs. Failure. All results and behaviors are achievements,
whether they are or are not the desired results
•All our experiences can be usefully represented through the
visual senses, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory and gustatory
•There is a positive intention motivating every behavior, and the
context in which every behavior has value
•The resources required for an individual to make a change
they already exist within him/her
PRESUPPOSITIONS OF NLP
REPRESENTATIONAL SYSTEMS
• From the perspective of NLP defines three ways of perceiving the
world: the visual, kinesthetic and auditory.
•From before birth to the world we perceive through our senses
and to date we perceive and learn through them. These different
ways of seeing the world we call representational systems.
•These are the words (verbs, adverbs, adjectives ...) that people
use in their communication to represent their internal experiences
in visual, auditory or kinesthetic.
•These are sensory modalities by which people encode, organizes,
stores and gives meaning to stimuli
We process all information through our senses

REPRESENTATIONAL SYSTEMS
REPRESENTATIONAL SYSTEMS
The visuals
The visuals not only can you recognize by their
appearance, but also when they talk they say
phrases like "at first sight", "a visual treat" or
"we'll see".
The visual remembers the faces, not names.
When attending an event mainly go to see what
they see.
When they talk about love have an image inside,
not a feeling.
When speaking eyes tend to move upwards.
They have their things perfectly arranged and do
not like them change things around.
REPRESENTATIONAL SYSTEMS
The autidory
The auditory are people with a calmer energy level,
are more sedentary, their arrangement is good and
conservative, without attracting attention. They
use linguistic terms such as "to be deaf to
something" or "word for word".
The auditory is a good listener.
They speak with caution and use a calm tone and harmonic.
Remember the words and not forget them, because they have a great
ability to remember what they heard.
Remember the names of people.
The eye movement of the hearing is to the right and the left (toward the
ear).
Loud noises, shrill or high-pitched do that they will be angry.
REPRESENTATIONAL SYSTEMS
The kinesthetic
The kinesthetic are people more relaxed. They
tend to dress comfortable, they aren’t interested
about fashion. Its energy is quiet and unhurried
talk, they like sports and good food and they are
very sensitive. They use expressions like “is a
balm for the spirit”, “to get oneself into a mess”,
or “it is a torment”.
The kinesthetic move slower.
They want the closeness of people. When they greet you, they
touch you.
They like the activities where they can touch, taste, feel some
aroma.
Sports normal and high-risk activities are their favorites.
His gaze tends to be down on the right
Looking for their comfort and the rest comfort.
THE EYE MOVEMENTS IN NLP
YOUR RIGHT YOUR LEFT
Let´s Practice!
THE EYE MOVEMENTS IN NLP
Abnormalities in analyzing eye passwords
1. Lefties have opposite preferences, in other words, instead of looking to the
right side looking to the left, and vice versa. Just what you need to do to make sure
this is calibrate what is the side that leads the eye when he talks about something
REAL, and where is it looks when you IMAGINE something, it will be enough to be
accurate.
2. The eyes can also be directed to a place, and then go to other places. The
person is looking for information in the brain to give you a precise answer.
3. The eyes move from side to side, from right to left or vice versa. This
indicates that the person is looking for something or maybe he can be comparing two
images.
4. The eyes seem to go to wrong locations, it usually occurs in people with
neurological or psychological problems.
5. The eyes move to all sides and in all directions. Normally, indicates that the
person is confused or is in an internal state of agitation.
Thank you!
