This document summarizes a lighting design case study for the main lobby and emergency departments at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center. The design uses RGB LED lighting to help maintain circadian rhythms and optimize patient health. LED lighting is installed in coves, media walls, and patient rooms to provide adjustable lighting for examination, emergency situations, and sleep cycles. Mockups show the use of LED halo lights above patient beds to create soothing, examining, or sterile lighting environments. The design aims to improve safety, medical outcomes, and the patient experience through evidence-based lighting strategies.
