SETTING UP SHOTS
ROISIN QUINN
TRIPOD
In these pictures, we are setting up the tripod for an
interview shot. TO do this, we had to unclip the bottom
part of the stand and extend the legs to the desired
height for our shot.
CAMERA
In these pictures we are setting up the camera for our
shot. To do this, we slid the base plate off the top of
the tripod and screwed it on to the camera. This
ensures that the camera is fixed to the tripod and can
not move when we put it on.
SHOT POSITIONING
• After we have set the tripod and camera up, we
then have to position our camera in the right
place for our shot, fix the white balance and fix
any lighting issues we may face. Once this is
done, we put the microphone and headphones in
so we can identify and correct any sound issues.
