- 1. Shot Count Task The song I chose to do was Chocolate by the 1975, in total the song reached 75 shots. There was a variation of shots which fit perfectly for this video. Even though there isn’t that many shots in the video, the shots that have been included work perfectly and make it look so professional, the video is primarily split into three shots: Establishing, Long and Close up shot. Establishing shots: Alongside long shots this video has a fair amount of establishing shots. The very first shot we see is an establishing shots and the very last shot we see is an establishing shot. As the video progresses and the scenery changes we see more initial establishing shots, they works with different focus’ and it makes it look very professional and smart. Long Shots: This video is notorious to long shots, as the music is vary chilled and at peace, when the camera turns to a long or an extreme long shot the camera goes out of focus, to the videos side works perfectly. Also the long shot at one point reveals all the band, giving a good idea to what they look like, and just simply paying respects to the other band members. Close up: in several shots, when the singer of the band has a smoke the camera pans up really close and it makes for a great effect.
