Digital technology - What equipment/software packages did you use to produce your production? • Final Cut Express • Photoshop • Time toast • Slide share • HD camera • Prezzi. These skills contributed to the creation of my AS media production as I felt really comfortable and confident in what I could use, therefore making me expand and develop my AS sequence, these skills helped my production look professional and very efficient. Because of my vast understanding I was able to save time and focus on any other withstanding tasks. I will develop my skills by researching and experimenting with everything I’ve been giving. This will benefit my music video as I can use more camera angles, better filters and a better way to present my evaluation. Post production - What software did you use to create your production? - Discuss specific features of the software. • Final Cut • Photoshop Final cut: using final cut was so helpful and beneficial, Specific features of this software was the speed and the wide variety of editing features, this helped make my Film Noire piece look dark, dull and miserable, a true reflective on what it should be. Photoshop: Photoshop helped organize my blog, I took images I will expand on my Photoshop and final cut knowledge, due to the success of my AS, I know that if I expand on this knowledge my music video will look super.

These skills will be developed in my A2, as I will find better resources and websites to make sure my coursework is up to a good standard. Using conventions of real media texts - Which texts did you analyse? - Did you take any inspiration from the conventions found from your research? • Internet use • Books/Reading • Listening/Radio • Magazines The skills helped contribute to the creation of my AS film sequence as we gathered a load of inspiration, thus making us more confident and capable to do well, I felt as though watching films form the time period was most successful, as I could enjoy the films whilst taking influence. To expand these skills for my A2 project I will make sure I take more notes and make sure the most critical points have been taken down. Creativity - were our ideas for your portfolio imaginative and unique or did you adhere to conventions? • Photoshop • Paint • Google images To create our logo we combined our names ‘JMJ’ and clashed it with productions.
