COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Online Trading
 Online trading in securities refers to the facility of
investor being able to place his own orders using the
internet trading platform offered by the trading
member viz., the broker.
 The orders so placed by the investor using internet
would be routed through the trading.
 In the course of his dealing, investor should always
make sure that sufficient funds and securities are
available in his account with the trading member and
that he is regular in payment of margins so as to
avoid blocking of account by the trading member.
 For every trade that takes place on the Exchange, the
trading member needs to issue contract note within
24 hours from the date of execution of the trade.
 Generally, internet based investors opt for Digital
contract notes. Hence, at the time of client
registration investor should provide an email id
which is regularly used.
 In case investor wishes to receive physical contract
notes
OBJECTIVE OF STUDY
 To understand the share market and its operations.
 To understand the investor’s investment patterns.
 To analyze the problems faced by the individual investors,
investing in trading if any.
 To understand the procedure followed in trading of
securities.
LITRATURE REVIEW
 Rebecca Davies and Stuart Cunningham (September 2012) studied on online
trading and User Perceptions of Usability and trust.
 Dr. Ramesh Onkareppa Olekar (4, April 2013) Online Trading and DEMAT
Account in India-Some Issues. Main function is the key in understanding how securities
are traded.
 Dr. Jasbir Singh(6, Apr-Jun 2012) awareness of customers regarding to demat
account.

LIMITATIONS
 This study is restricted to 100 respondent
selected by convenience sampling method
of vadodara city only.
CONCLUSION
 SEBI has been playing a significant role in the regulation of
stock market. SEBI’s steps like dematerializing, and trading
through net etc. has increased the transparency of the
trading than before.
