Timeless Architecture. Tireless Service.
2
Shumake Architecture, PA has built a reputation by maintaining a stable client
base and creating a record of successfully completed projects for healthcare and
educational facilities. Project scopes range from small to medium size including
complex renovations and major new projects up to $11 million.
Exceptional client service is the key to successful projects and our small firm
assures that the principal in charge has an active role in each phase of the
project from start to finish, assisted by highly skilled staff and consultants.
Our approach is to integrate sustainability principles from the early stages of the
design process through the construction phase. We support new or improved
technologies, products and materials derived from renewable resources or with
low environmental impact.
We understand each projects unique energy needs and recommend the right
systems, materials and methods to achieve a customized balance of
environmental performance for each project budget.
With the entire professional career in the Central Florida area, we are familiar
with the local market and natural environment and have the capacity and
resources in place for a successful project delivery.
Over thirty years of extensive project management experience, mostly with
small to medium sized institutional projects provided the foundation necessary
to manage your project from start to finish. We have the ability, experience and
drive to respond to your projects unique needs, and deliver a customized,
practical, quality solution that will stand the test of time.
INTRODUCTION
SCHEDULE
We have developed efficient design and
production methods and utilizes a time tested
systematic service delivery approach to assure
challenges are met and overcome with
minimal impact to the schedule.
95% of our projects were delivered on time
and had a change order rate of less than 3%.
BUDGET
Meeting the clients budget is one of the most
fundamental aspect of our service.
We provide a cost estimate with a breakdown
of foreseeable construction costs and propose
cost saving options. Ideally, value engineering
occurs prior to bid and construction contract.
Service-Oriented Results-Driven Time-Tested
ADVOCATE
An often overlooked aspect of successful
project delivery is the Architect’s attention
through the construction phase. We allocate
a significant portion of each project’s budgeted
time to Construction Administration. This
assures the Owner is properly represented at
this critical time in the project delivery
process.
A significant amount of our work has been
behavioral centers and related projects. This
has resulted in a honed skill set for these
complex and unique projects.
