The document presents a simple three-input single-output current-mode universal filter using a single voltage differencing current conveyor (VDCC). The proposed filter can realize five generic filter responses (band-pass, band-reject, low-pass, high-pass, all-pass) from the same configuration using one VDCC, one resistor, and two capacitors. Both the natural frequency and quality factor of the filter can be electronically controlled. Non-ideal analysis shows that current/voltage tracking errors and parasitic elements affect the filter performance but the output current expression maintains the same generic form.
