Uses of Simple Present
• We use the Simple Present for things that are habitual (HABITS AND
ROUTINES). For example:
I play football on Sundays.
• We use the Simple Present for things that are true in general (SCIENTIFIC
FACTS). For example:
The earth goes round the sun.
