SiPACS ® : Enterprise PACS Solution from Sikraft Solutions Ltd
Picture Archiving & Communication with SiPACS ® PACS is a digital image management software system for receiving and storing digital images from different modalities, archiving images both on/off line onto various media, distributing softcopy images through network for viewing primary diagnosis and consultation, and communicating with external information systems. SiPACS® is compliant with the DICOM 3.0 standard as defined by ACR-NEMA.
A Typical PACS Network
Introducing SiPACS ® SiPACS ® is a full-hospital PACS, supporting all the imaging activities in a hospital and integrating modalities, image storage and distribution, softcopy viewing for primary diagnosis and consultation, archiving, and external information systems.
Benefits of using PACS Optimizes and streamlines diagnosis and reporting workflows, and patient flows. Reduces data entry error by facilitating single-point data entry and eliminating re-entry of data through modalities. Optimizes resource utilizations – machine time, consultant time can be optimally scheduled and utilized. Enhances machines’ as well as consultants’ throughputs. Reduces and optimizes film-handling tasks as these are distributed electronically. Eliminates loss of films and reports. Ensures availability and access of images and reports on-line, any time, and from any designated location.
Benefits (Contd.) Same image, reports can be shared for retrieval and viewing from multiple locations by several consultants simultaneously. Reduces image and report retrieval time. It allows manipulation of digital images which can never be done with hard-copy film. Reduces time to initiate clinical action. Reduces reporting as well as patient turn-around time. Makes historical patient data retrieval easier during repeat/follow-up visits. Improves quality of patient care by the use of multimedia reports and tele-consultation. Saves money by reducing film consumption, reduced archival space, less handling and overhead.
