Alasan – alasan yang mendasari pemilihan system SAP R/3 Enterprise adalah : SAP R/3 Enterprise menawarkan “best price” , kemampuan yang handal, dan memiliki catatan prestasi pada bisnis telekomunikasi. Kebutuhan untuk mentransformasi PT Telkom menjadi operator kelas dunia dengan sistem “benchmark” kelas dunia juga yang menawarkan peningkatan kualitas pada infrastruktur IT yang sudah ada sebelumnya dengan “zero defect process”.
- 18. Keuntungan dari aplikasi tersebut Integrasi yang lebih baik dengan pelanggan dan vendor. Dengan penerapan modul tambahan dari PSA yaitu SAP HR dan SAP Project System. Telkomsel mampu membuat organisasi bisnisnya menjadi lebih efisien dan dapat mengurangi jumlah karyawannya yang diatas 3500 menjadi 2700 orang.
- 19. Manfaat yang diperoleh PT.Telkomsel ERP yang digunakan oleh PT. TELKOMSEL adalah SAP R/3 Entpriser. Diterapkannya alat bantu ERP ini dikarenakan tuntutan suatu perusahaan untuk mengikuti standar internasional, bagaimana peran penjualan, dan analisis terhadap biaya.
- 20. Laporan Keuangan Telkom Tahun 2015 Bisnis Seluler dan Data, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Telkom) tetap menunjukkan kinerja yang memuaskan dengan membukukan pendapatan sebesar Rp 48,84 triliun tumbuh 12,2 persen dari tahun lalu yang tercatat Rp 43,54 triliun.
