Service-Learning Registration – CollegiateLink (2 step process – Join SL + Join Class) • This information will be confirmed with Community Partner capacity and you will receive an email confirmation with logistics…including: • Finger prints, TB tests, and Physicals may be required, stay tuned • Transportation/ carpooling/direc tions • Save this email for future reference!!!
- 7. Click on Organizations in the gray bar. Go to hws.collegiatelink.net and log in.
- 8. Click on “S” in the Directory on the left hand side.
- 9. Click on Service-Learning in the list that appears + JOIN ORGANIZATION
- 10. Go to the “Forms” on the left hand side.
- 11. DO NOT FORGET TO HIT “SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL” Click on Service-Learning in blue and start filling out your form.
- 12. FIND YOUR CLASS AND JOIN. THIS WILL BE IN YOUR SHORTCUTS FOR YOU TO USE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEMESTER.
- 13. • Go to “My Shortcuts” and find your class. • Click on Service Hours • Add Service Hours Always add your hours to your class, not “Service- Learning” in Shortcuts.
- 15. The Service-Learning Colleague will be responsible for communication between the community partner(s), The Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning (CCESL), and the faculty member. The Colleague’s ability to serve as a liaison is key to ensuring students have a successful service-learning experience.
