- 2. The clock is ticking…. Now is the time to make a change . Students will rotate through computers based on choice and teacher selection. Students will have access to power point and word. All Students will develop an understanding of basic computer operations. Students will use the smart board to complete teacher created learning activities. Students will create their own podcasts (retelling stories, record personal experiences). Students will interact with other students/teachers/professionals around the world through webcams and blogs. Students rotate through computer by choice. Students have the access to software such as: Clifford, Dr. Seuss, and Bailey's Book house. Students have access to websites such as: PBS Kids, Sesame Street, and Starfall.com. Implementation 4 computers in the classroom. Smart board in the classroom. - 3. RATIONALE Technology should be integrated into preschool programs because these years are critical development periods. Students need to know how to operate current technology devices.
