What is Software Skill
• Software skills help you to efficiently use computer programs and applications. ... For example, many engineer
may believe all applicants have a basic knowledge of word processing programs, like Microsoft Word.
•To develop software skill in any field if it is technical or non technical ,basic knowledge of that field must be
required to understand properly.

 The Excel Engineering Functions perform the most commonly used engineering calculations, many of
which relate to Bessel Functions, Complex Numbers or converting between different bases.
 Engineers use Excel almost every day. It doesn’t matter what industry you are in; MS Excel is used
almost everywhere in engineering. Microsoft Excel is the number one tool for data preparation, and
data analysis. An engineer must have an advanced level of knowledge of this awesome tool. Successful
engineers have learned to master it in order to advance in their careers

 MS Office is not an engineering tool but it is more of a business tool but without MS Office application
in engineering work, engineering work can't be shared efficienctly with the broader scientific

 There is no need to explain that how important this software is. It is obvious that none of the person can
start his professional career especially office work without knowing the importance and usability of

AutoCAD is a commercial computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software application.
