  • #3: What message/image will you draw in their mind? Hook: What should the audience walk away with? (What they need) Give problem, solution with benefits Give an example, or ask the audience for one - example of point, message, take away that stuck, they remembered.

  • #5: Pause, smile, then: Open with a Question or a statement! Then pause to allow it to sink in (count of 3-4 seconds) Makes it a dialogue, vs lecture. Give an example, or ask the audience for one - when someone has opened with question or statement, vs.. welcome ladies gentlemen or done a long intro.
