- 1. Learn how to: See what your printed spreadsheet will look like Change margins, page layouts and headings Put in page breaks Print the spreadsheet showing the formulae that you used
- 2. Print Preview It’s always a good idea to see what your print out will look like before you actually print it. Then you can avoid wasting paper and printer ink. You can do this by using Print Preview
- 3. Print Preview: Just click File, then choose Print Preview
- 4. Print Preview: Now you can see if your print out looks OK. If it doesn’t, you will need to change some things before you print.
- 5. Page Breaks Excel often puts half of a table on one page and the other half on another page. Not much good! You can decide where you want one page to stop and a new page to start using Page Breaks
- 6. Page Breaks: After you have done a Print Preview, a dotty line like this shows your where one page ends and the next one starts.
- 7. Page Breaks : If I select this cell and click on Insert, then choose Page Break my page will start at the start of my table. Much more sensible!
- 8. Page Setup You can change the way that your print out will look by using Page Setup You can use Page Setup to Set the paper size Choose portrait or landscape Add page headings And much more!

- 20. Printing Out Your Formulas : Now you can see the formulas. This is what will print out DON’T PANIC about the column widths! Just leave them as they are.
- 21. Printing Out Your Formulas : To change back, just click Tools, then choose Options. Then get rid of the tick next to formulas. Easy!
