Implementing the SQ3R method should be similar. When we pay more
attention to the details of the reading—the “meal”—we will be astounded with
the results. We will really succeed when we fully use the SQ3R method, and a
“new life” of passing grades will be there.
The findings of the current research indicated
that students who wrote notes from the
textbook in a manner consistent with SQ3R
concepts and principles performed better on
subsequent recall exams.
