Company Introduction & Relationship Scope
ABOUT US
Stellar Value Chain Solutions, founded by SCM and Retail industry pioneer Anshuman Singh is a company
focused on creating value for its customers across the entire Value Chain covering both Supply as well as
Demand. The company raised an investment of USD 125 million from global private equity firm Warburg
Pincus in August 2016. The company uses network modeling tools and extensive Technology applications
as well as Global Expertise and Knowledge to design best in class Solutions combined with world class
Infrastructure, Processes and Automation to deliver SCM Services for customers in the sectors of Food,
FMCG, Consumer Durables, Electronics & Hi-tech, Lifestyle, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals and
Engineering.
Stellar’s customized solutions and its services encompass the supply chain along with the demand chain
will help reduce customers’ current cost-to-market and increase their current speed-to-market. In turn
this will help customers to reduce their inventories and increase their sales and profitability. With Goods
& Services Tax (GST) bill due to pass soon, Stellar will be one of the very few companies ready to help
all companies quickly re-align their supply and demand network enabling them to take full benefits of
GST, thereby increasing their efficiency and improving their market share and profitability.
The Company is looking to grow at an aggressivepace - organically and inorganically through acquisitions.
Stellar intends to be the most high-end technology enabled and integrated Supply Chain and Logistics
Company in Modern large scale Warehousing, Transportation including Primary, Secondary and Last Mile
and Cold Chain services. The company will create multiple large scale integrated Logistics Parks which
will include Distribution Centres, E-Fulfilment centres, Cold Storage including Frozen and Chilled,
Transportation Hubs and other Value Added Services across all major Consumption Clusters as well as
Manufacturing / Production Clusters in India.
BUSINESS ROADMAP
We intend to set up over 30 million sq. ft. of modern Logistics Parks across 21 cities of India. Each park
will have Built-To-Suit configurations of
1. Dry multi user warehouses for Contract Logistics with range of value-added services
2. E-Commerce Fulfillment Centers
3. Cold Chains
4. Express Logistics Hubs
Overall Service Portfolio:
 Warehousing
o Tech Enabled Warehouse management
o Spare Parts Warehousing
o VMI warehousing
o FG Component warehousing
o Kitting/Unit Cartonization
 InBound
o Milk Run
o I2M
o Primary Transportation & Consolidation
 OutBound
o Spare parts distribution
o PTL/Express Movement
o Milk Run
o VOR
o FTL
o Express Movement
o Temperature controlled
 In-Plant Operations
o Kit formation
o MHE Management
 Cold Chain Management (Frozen as well as Chilled)
o Storage with value-added services
o Transportation with highly specialized vehicle fleet
 E Commerce fulfilment
Every year, we would build about 5 million sq. ft. of warehousing space.
COLLABORATION SCOPE
1. Consulting / Strategy Design in complete zoning, distribution network design, processes,
route optimization, space optimization etc…
2. Possible acquisitions for inorganic growth
3. Contract management
4. Etc…
TECHNOLOGY ROADMAP
Aligningtotheoverall businessvisionandexecutionstrategy,technologyplatformdesignanddeployment
plan will first address the basic needs of service management. We will put in place state-of-the-art
"Warehouse Management System (with LMS)", Transport Management System, and Vehicle Tracking
systemas the core componentof digital operations(paperless). The underlyingphilosophywouldbe to
ensure that architecture design supports seamless integration with variety of “warehouse-process-
automation” technologies; as well as integration with customer IT systems.
The corporate teamdrivingthe businesswillworkentirelyonacloud-basedERPplatform (withFinancials,
HCM, CRM, Projects, and employee productivity) for day-to-day business management and will enjoy
tools that offer strong collaboration within teams on the go. All core business systems will be device-
independent and will work on variety of smart devices thus supporting BYOD work culture.
The nextlayerof strategictechnologyenablementwill comethroughtheextensive useof IoTandBigData
Analytics. And hence, our design principle will take into account IoT readiness from the word go. Big
Data Analytics will be our key differentiator and give tremendous competitive advantage by virtue of
driving real-time business decision based on various predicative models, route optimization algorithms,
storage optimization algorithms and machine-learning techniques.
Finally, we will build online, real-time dashboards based on live geo-maps, live video feeds, goods
movement, (super-imposed with corresponding financial information, inventory data, employee data
etc...) to not only keep management in control of the business, but also to make customers feel fully
empowered. Thus establishing complete transparency in the entire business ecosystem.
COLLABORATION SCOPE
 Everything …
o Process Automation / Warehouse Automation technology selection (e.g. pick-to-light
systems, automatic sorters, conveyor belts, robotic)
o Communication backbone design
o IoT
o Big Data Analytics (I am sure Watson would have a role to play)
o Enterprise Solution Selection, Implementation Support
o NOC design for live feed of business operations (video, GPS-based truck movement,
inventory status, financials, workforce statistics, productivity statistics, customer
data etc…)
