Step 2. task 1   (presenting a web 2.0 tool)
Slide share consists of a social network that allows users to
share content both publicly and privately. Among those
contents are for example Power Point Slides, Open Office,
PDF, Word documents and even some audio and video
samples.
Honestly, as an English teacher in
Secondary school, I would use this tool
in the teaching and learning process
getting the students to do some oral and
written exercises to improve their skills
when facing an exam. For example,
practical exercises in grammar,
listening, writing, speaking,
pronunciation and conversation, and
second, active training for the Saber
Tests and the preparation for some
International Exams like MET, TOFEL or
IELTS.
One of the most innovative appliances that can be used in Slide
share could be the implementation of a Virtual English Simulator.
Since it would be:
 Consolidated as an indispensable tool for students of the
different grades of many Primary and Secondary Educational
Institutions in Colombia to save time and achieving goals.
 A Language Simulator would reduce the limitation in the
programmatic content making them more competent, critical
and willing to work in teams.
 It would face directly to virtual learning environments in which
they need to interact with their teachers and appropriate
technological resources.
The use of this virtual tool is of utmost importance not
only because it saves time or achieves proposed
achievements, but also because:
 It makes it easy to share your educational
presentation in a simple way.
It is much easier to show your educational presentation
from Slide share than by transporting it from one place to
another or showing it on paper. In this way you can have it
always visible so that it reaches all those interested in
your educational establishment.
Helps to present in an attractive visual way your
Lesson Plans and Pedagogical Projects.
If you want to present a lesson plan or a pedagogical
project in an attractive way, a presentation can be the
solution and if you upload it to Slide share; it will arrive in
a much more effective way to the students.
It allows the exchange of updated content with your
followers.
Slide share allows you to share very visual content, such
as presentations or infographics, with all your allies, who
will appreciate your contribution of value and will be
closer to becoming your followers.
The incorporation of the Slide share as a virtual tool would
be a valuable opportunity not only for the students, but
also for the English teachers since their pedagogical
exercises would also improve, and therefore, the design of
teaching materials to teach English in virtual environments
would be a total achievement.

Honestly, as an English teacher in Secondary school, I would use this tool in the teaching and learning process getting the students to do some oral and written exercises to improve their skills when facing an exam.
