The problems with string theory
String theory has yet to agree with the other established theories such
as Newtonian mechanics and the standard model of physics
The benefits of string theory
• String theory is attractive,
because it explains the
apparent wave nature of
reality very well. It does
this by viewing the
fundamental
components of matter
being strings
Physics stands divided
• The current state of physics is limited because it is divided into a
number of disparate models such as:
• Newtonian Physics
• The Standard Model
• String theory
The ideal model of physics
• I believe that ideally a model
for physics should follow a
“truth and definition format”.
By this I mean that there should
be a stated definition of the
physical universe followed by a
rule of no contradictions within
the physics model. Like a
pyramid with the definition at
the top.
A physics model should work bottom up
• Due to the complexity of these models there is bound to be
contradictions. The problem with these models is the amount of
complexity. A physics model should start from low complexity, and
build up complexity in a bottom up manner.

Definition of the physical universe
• The physical universe is composed of matter and matter can attract
other matter at a distance. Furthermore this occurs via a squared
relationship in relation to distance.
Alternative to string theory: Matter devotion
theory
• Matter aggregates to form units. Matter within a unit is devoted in
one of two ways, towards attraction internal to the unit in question or
towards attraction external to the unit. An example of a unit is any
particle such as an atom, molecule or photon.
Velocity and mass of a unit
The velocity of the unit of matter is caused by the internal attraction of
the matter in the unit
Meanwhile the mass of the unit of matter is caused matter that is
devoted to external attraction
Notation
Ek = matter of a unit devoted to attraction internal to a unit = energy
Internal Attraction
Em = matter of a unit devoted to attraction external to the unit = mass
External Attraction
Em to Ek shift
• Matter is neither created or destroyed so when a unit of energy goes
from stationary to moving some of its matter goes from being
externally attracted to being internally attracted.

Particles in external attraction state Particles in internal attraction state
Particles wave duality
• The matter in a unit switches from being internally attracted to
being externally attracted in a oscillatory manner. This is how point
particles develop wave like characteristic if they are in movement.
Em Ek Em
A particle that exhibits particle wave duality such
as a photon, is composed of matter that oscillates
from a state of attraction internal to the unit to
attraction external to the unit.
In string theory particles being composed of
strings is used to explain particle wave duality
By contrast in matter devotion theory a sphere being
surrounded by springs that oscillate is the model for
particle wave duality. This represents the changes from
internal to external attraction that a unit of matter
undergoes
For example the physical universe itself is a unit of matter that
oscillates between internal attraction called Ek and external
attraction called Em
Before the big bang all of the matter in the universe was in a
state of internal attraction or Ek, such that the physical
universe was a point particle
Ever since the big bang the matter of the universe
is becoming increasingly devoted to Em or
attraction to matter external to the universe
So essentially during the time when there was pure Ek the
universe as a unit has a lot of energy or velocity viewed
externally
So essentially during the time when there was pure Ek the
universe as a unit, had a lot of energy or velocity as viewed
externally
Internal attraction is proportional to velocity
As the universe expanded from the point singularity the matter
went from being devoted to internal attraction or energy, to
being devoted to external attraction or mass
The universe is slowing down and is increasing in mass, and
decreasing in energy as viewed external to the universe. This is
because there is an Ek to Em shift occurring in the universe.
This pattern holds for all aggregate formations of matter when
they are in movement and explains particle wave duality
Acceleration in a unit of matter occurs when there is an Em to
Ek shift. That is to say that if the matter of a particle becomes
more internally attracted then it will accelerate
