This experiment aims to determine if there is a link between childhood vaccinations and the rise in autism diagnoses. It will compare outcomes for children who were vaccinated versus unvaccinated. Parents of children from a hospital will complete questionnaires about their child's development, medical history, and vaccines received. The questionnaires will collect information on social skills, siblings without autism, specific vaccines, and current treatments. The results will then be analyzed to test the hypothesis that vaccines may increase autism risk by overwhelming a child's immune system and exposing them to toxins like thimerosal. If a link is found, the researcher aims to inform parents of vaccination risks.
