- 1. THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT (11 -12-2016) NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 1. Talent Dhamaka 2016 gets rolling today/tomorrow with the finals of the Handwriting, story-writing and relay writing competitions after the 9.30 am mass. For details of the venue, please see the notice board. 2. Eco kids project for today/tomorrow will be area cleaning drive. Animators may collect a set of face mask and hand gloves from the parish office. 3. Coming Sunday Bible Quest 17 will be held in the book of 1 Samuel chs 1 to 10. From BQ 17, those substitutes who come prepared are also allowed to participate in the bible quiz. But for your performance points, only ten top scorers will be considered. PPC members, please enlist the nos participating online with Fr Felix before coming Wednesday, including substitutes. 4. PYC meeting will be held today/tomorrow, 11th December after the 9.30 am mass. Those youth who would like to volunteer for Talent Dhamaka and Parish Fete are invited to attend this meeting. 5. Every year we give a Christmas hampers to the needy families of our parish. Sponsors in the form of cash, approximately Rs 800/- per family are welcome. 6. The Christmas confessions will be held on the following week Thursday and Friday, 22nd and 23rd December from 5 to 8.30 pm. 7. Christmas mass schedule will be like last year. Christmas vigil mass will begin with Carol singing at 10 pm followed by Christmas feast mass at 11. On 25th Christmas day, morning there will be masses as per Sunday schedule – 7 am Konkani, 8.30 in English. No evening mass on Christmas day. 8. For Jr KG admission form distribution and other details please refer to the school notice board. 9. The Bible Diary for 2017 has come. Contact liturgy stall. The bible diary contains the daily mass readings and reflections, useful for personal and family prayer. Bible diary can be also used as a gift article for any occasion. 10. Advent ‘campaign against hunger and decease’ envelopes are available near the entrance gate. You may drop them in the community fund box or box near the altar or handover in the parish office. 11. Priests/sisters team parish visitation this week will be SCC 7 and 18. PPC members will inform the families which will be visited. 12. (9.30 mass) Today’s liturgy is animated by SCC 18, coming Sunday liturgy is SCC 1. 13. The last Sunday collections amounted to Rs . Thank you for your generosity. 14.
