Rollercoaster Rampage Materials: 2- 6 ft sections of pipe insulation 1 small marble 1 meter of duct tape Chairs Stopwatch The challenge: Construct a rollercoaster that has a drop-in, 1 loop, and 3 hills As the construction is completed, teams should then label the diagram indicating changes in energy, velocity, and acceleration. Winner of this challenge will be determined by accuracy of diagram and the team whose marble completes the circuit (run) closest to 3 seconds. 20 pts for the 1st group to complete the challenge. 15 points to 2 nd place. 10 points to 3 rd place. 5 points to 4 th place
