Detailed Synopsis – Hollow Town Logline: A high ranked detective (Detective ) coincidentlymovesintoa new town,in which he is immediatelyconvictedofkidnappinghis neighbour’skidnapping, and facesthe challenge to prove the town wrong, and find the kidnapper. Detective , a highrankedofficial hasbeenwidelyregardedasatop detective anddoeshis jobto a highstandard.He has decidedtomove intoa new townbyhimself.Onhisjourney towardshisnewhouse,he noticesthateveryone isvery personal tothemselvesand suspiciousof hisnewarrival.Havingunpackedandmade himself athome,he noticesthe neighbour’s childplayingoutsideonthe frontporch. Eager to introduce himselftothe new town, he decidesto go and confront her. Duringthe small conversation,the child’sfathercomesoutalooksveryoverprotective and conservedaboutlettinghischildspeaktothe new man.Noticingthis() introduceshimself and the fatherbecomeslessclosedandmore opentohis new neighbour.The nextmorning, there are furiousandpleadingcriesnextdoor, understandingthatthe childhe had met yesterday,has gone missing/beenkidnapped. Ashe comesoutto hishouse to investigate, he speaksto the father,andthe father believes/infers,that,is the one to blame. Havingthe townagainsthim doesnothelphissearch.In the climactichighpoint,the protagonistandantagonistbecome veryclose to eachother,one searchingforthe other,not knowingwhowill reachthe other first. The antagonistcapturesthe protagonists,andthe townfeel harddone bythe fact they blamedhimall thistime,andare once more afraid.
