This document discusses the synthesis and analysis of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramic using impedance methods. PZT samples were synthesized from lead oxide, zirconium dioxide, and titanium dioxide, and their properties were analyzed. An equivalent Butterworth-Van Dyke circuit model was used to model the PZT and calculate circuit parameters like capacitance and inductance from impedance measurements. Tests were also conducted to analyze how the PZT properties changed with temperature. The calculated circuit parameters matched well with measured impedance values, demonstrating the effectiveness of the impedance analysis method.
