- 2. Making the Sale From the Terminal, pick the items to be purchased and apply any discounts and quantity changes. When your customer is ready, select Payments default to Credit but you can also take cash, check and other payments.
- 3. Receipts Once a payment is complete, you can email or print a receipt.
- 4. Taking a Credit Card Payment You can process a credit card payment using the optional card swiper or by entering the card details in manually.
- 5. Taking a Credit Card Payment Once the card has been processed, your customer can add a tip (if enabled) then sign on the screen to complete the sale.
- 6. Taking a Cash Payment Select Cash and enter the amount charged. You can use the paid amount button to simplify your checkout or just type it in. When the cash sale is done, the receipt page will tell you if change is due.
- 7. Taking a Check Payment Checks can be taken for the sale amount or more in the case of cash-backs. If the value of the check is more than the sale amount, there will be Change due on the receipt page. You can add the Check Number to the transaction to help with reporting.
- 8. Taking an “Other” Payment Other payments cater to alternate forms of payment such as debit machines, gift cards and coupons. You can add a Reference ID to help with your reporting.
