Students will complete a 4-week project on healthy eating choices. They will learn about healthy and unhealthy foods, the five food groups, and how food affects the body. For the final project, students will be split into four groups, with each group creating a news report focused on one of the five food groups. The reports will include the benefits of the food group, examples of foods in that group, and opinions from a taste test. The purpose is for students to better understand healthy foods and food groups in order to make healthier choices.
