Task 4:

The idea for my story will be to have the heavy eating his sandvich at a table and then it being stolen
while he is not looking. This causes the heavy to enrage and go off to search for the person who has
stolen his sandvich. The thief will not be revealed immediately but hints will be dropped during the
story as to who took it and also there will be some other characters involved such as the scout and
pyro who will lend a hand but for the most part the heavy is just smashing his way through
everything to find his sandvich.

Upon finding the person who stole his sandvich the heavy and this thief will engage in glorious battle
until eventually the criminal is defeated and the heavy is reunited with his sandvich. This story will
demonstrate new weapons and abilities that will come in the expansion I am advertising and will try
to demonstrate them in a way that would entice the player to be more likely to purchase it.

During the story the heavy will meet other characters to help him with his task of retrieving the
sandvich and there will be a fair amount of comedy in it to appeal to the audience of Team Fortress
2. I will be trying to find new models for weapons and new character skins for my story and would be
happy if I can get some new models to show off and make my animation a lot better.

I will be able to address my target audience by improving my development of the weapons and
abilities the players already like and designing new maps skins and weapons influenced by the most
popular items already out there but I must make sure to not overdo it and make it look like just a
revamp, it has to be new but still being an improvement on the old. It must also be a simple and easy
to jump into and play style of an expansion so people don’t feel lost or like they have to adjust to
something new.

The market for my game will be targeted at people between 12 and 18 years of age so the price will
not be incredibly high but it will be the standard price of an expansion pack and I can see it making
large profit because of how successful the game already is and how high the demand is for them to
release an expansion for the game so that they are not stuck playing the same content over and
over.
