This graph shows that out of everyone who
answered my questionnaire, none of them
had ever experienced homelessness. This
will possibly make the rest of my results
slightly biased as none of them had actually
experienced what it is like to be homeless
so they don’t know how bad it may be.
The second graph shows if people
thought there is enough help for
homeless teenagers. One person said
that there was but seven other people
would disagree. Therefore, I should keep
in mind that not many people are aware
of charities that help homeless teenagers
so the products I create for SASH should
be eye catching and effective.
Out of the ten people that answered
my questionnaire, the majority was
aged 16 to 17. The second majority
are ages 18-24. This means that
most of the people that answered
my questionnaire are within the age
range that I will be creating posters
for. This will possibly come in handy
when designing my own produce.
Most of the people that answered this question
don’t know anyone that has or is currently
homeless. This could also effect the results of
some questions as they will not have any idea of
some of the horrors homeless people may face
on a day to day basis. However, three people had
so I could single their questionnaire sheets out
and see their opinions on the rest of the
questions.
On this question, it shows that more than half of
the people that answered the the question were
not aware of the help available for homeless
people. This means that homeless charities need
to have better advertising because anyone has
the potential to become homeless at some point
so they will need to know what they can do or
where they could go at these times. It could also
come in handy to people so if they need to they
can help someone they know that has become
homeless.
Again, this graph shows that homeless
charities need to be advertised a lot better
because 90% of the people that answered
this question do not see many of these types
of charities advertised. Even if they do not
become more popular with advertising, the
posters need to be made eye catching and
effective for when they are advertised.
Most people think that the age
group most at risk are people
aged 18 to 24. This could be
because they have just become
legal adults and are struggling to
pay for accommodation and
things.
Others
• Would you support a homeless persons charity? Why? Most people that
answered this question would support a homeless charity, mainly so that
the homeless people could have a better quality of life.
• Would you help a homeless person? Why? Many people would help a
homeless person but more people would feel better about helping them if
they knew the person or they would just gave a strange homeless person
some food or a bit of money. None of them would actually let them stay at
their house.
