- 2. EXT. forest - night Scott climbs a large tree, a few branches below him SNAP off and fall into the leafs below making a CRUNCH sound. His friend Keenan calls up to him KEENAN Scott! Don’t be so stupid for crying out loud, you’re going to end up getting hurt. You know they don’t let us come here after dark and if you think I’m hanging around here then you’re stupid. SCOTT Hey, don’t be like that! What’s the worst that could happen mate? I’m pretty sure they have better to do than chase some ’stupid kids’ around a forest at night. KEENAN Look mate, I didn’t want to tell you earlier, I was worried at how you’d react but I’ve heard... things. Scott jumps down from the tree, making a RUSTLING sound with the leafs SCOTT What kind of things? KEENAN I haven’t been told much, uh, all I know is that people who go deeper into the forest never come back. SCOTT Ha! You really believe people who tell you that sort of stuff, they’re just scaremongers pal, no need to worry. KEENAN But... what about all those people who went missing? SCOTT You really think I’m scared of silly little stories?
