Number Bonds to 10 Activity:
- This game helps students recall their math facts to
10.
- This activity requires that students combine
number balls to make sums of 10. Students try to
remove all addends before time runs out.
Implementation: I would use this activity as a center
during our math rotations while students are stationed at
the computer.
Bloom’s Taxonomy: In the remembering level of Blooms
students are asked to be able to recall facts and basic
concepts. In this activity, students have to be able to recall
their facts to 10 quickly to be successful. They are also
trying to complete this task before the clock runs out
which assist in rapid recall.

Bubble Map Activity:
- Students will use the iPad to access the Popplet
app. Students will create a bubble map displaying
their information.
Implementation: After students write their informational
writing piece on their chosen animal, they will create a
bubble map to share facts that they learned.

Blooms students are asked to be able to summarize and
explain information. In this activity, students will be able
to display their knowledge and understanding of what they
have learned about their animal.

All About Me Book Activity:
- Students will use the website to write, create, and
publish their own story in the form of a book.
Implementation: Students will go on the computer to the
website where they will begin drafting their story. Student
will use the All About Me template provided to assist
them in the process of creating their book.
Bloom’s Taxonomy: In the applying level of Bloom’s
students use information that they know in order to deliver
information. In this activity, students will apply the
writing skills they have learned to create a book that
demonstrations their understanding of how to create an
informational writing piece.

Compare and Contrast Activity:
- Students will work in small groups to
collaboratively create a Venn Diagram using on
the online virtual bulletin board template on
Padlet. Students will compare and contrast fiction
and non-fiction text features.
Implementation: This activity would be used after our
unit on fiction and non-fiction text features. In groups,
students would demonstrate their understanding of how
they are alike and different be creating a virtual Venn
Diagram.
Bloom’s Taxonomy: In the analyzing level of Blooms,
students analyze content which includes comparing and
contrasting. This website allows students and teachers to
collaborate and share information with others. You can
upload pictures, links, or text to display ideas. There is
also an option for hidden custom URL links for privacy
and security.

Landforms Review Activity:
- Student will use this web-based study application
to review about landforms.
Implementation: This activity would be used whole
group in class to review or study of landforms. Students
will also be able to access this from home to review with
their family.

students are asked to select, test, and verify. Students will
use the website to review content from class. In this
activity if would be over our study of landforms. With this
web-based application, teachers or students can create
review for any content of their choosing.

Writing Activity:
- Student will use the application to create and write
a short story.
- The application allows them to choose from
several different writing prompts to choose their
story topic.
Implementation: I would use this activity during our
writing segment of the day. I would use this by going to
the computer labor having groups of students at a time use
the computers. This application is also available to use on
iPads.
Bloom’s Taxonomy: In the creating level of Blooms,
students are asked to produce original work. Students will
use the website, which has the student spin four different
levers to generate a topic. For example, describe meeting a
surprised toad who is trying to return to the sea. Students
create and write their story. Student are given several
different templates to assist them in their creation.
