        High Performance &
        Computation

3/31/2013 1:11:48 AM 4
As the Name suggests, it is the
                 Computation at a high
               Rate & Performance !

                   Allows scientists and engineers to
                  solve complex science, engineering
                      and business problems using
                      applications that require high
                   bandwidth and very high compute
                               capabilities.

What does Quantum
means?
In Physics, a quantum (plural: quanta)
is the minimum amount of any physical
entity involved in an interaction.

3/31/2013 1:11:48 AM 7
Example:

A photon is a single quantum of
light, and is referred to as a
"light quantum". The energy of
an electron bound to an
atom (at rest) is said to be
quantized, which results in the
stability of atoms, and of matter
in general.

Conclusion of the above comparison

   a) ‘Paper A’ does a better job of analyzing prior work to solve
      the problem.
As it is able to provide the solutions for developing partially
functional quantum computers (2-3 qubit QCs).

   b) ‘Paper C’ is better in terms of describing procedure.
      As it describes certain algorithms.

   c) ‘Paper A’ achieves its stated objective more convincingly.
As it uses experimental results rather than theoretical
       aspects to resolve the problem.

  • 26. Conclusion of the above comparison a) ‘Paper A’ does a better job of analyzing prior work to solve the problem. As it is able to provide the solutions for developing partially functional quantum computers (2-3 qubit QCs). b) ‘Paper C’ is better in terms of describing procedure. As it describes certain algorithms. c) ‘Paper A’ achieves its stated objective more convincingly. As it uses experimental results rather than theoretical aspects to resolve the problem. 3/31/2013 1:11:48 AM 26
