- 2. RESEARCH: IMOVIE Although I found many high quality video editing software for macs, I will use iMovie and After Effects as I already have those two programs on my laptop and it would be easy to access without having to pay to use it.
- 3. TUTORIALS ON IMOVIE EFFECTS I am very familiar with this editing software but I didn’t know there was a stabilizing effect. Here’s a tutorial on how to smooth out shaky shots. If I end up not being able to use a tri-pod, I will use this effect and stabilize my video to achieve a high quality outcome.
- 4. ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES ON IMOVIE This is a table I found on the internet while searching for advantages and disadvantages of IMovie. I will have to make sure I keep reminding myself of the limitations just in case something happens to my project when I edit it.
- 5. TUTORIALS ON AFTER EFFECTS Browsing through different After Effects tutorial, I was really interested to learn how to add optical flares. Comparing IMovie and After Effect tutorials, I generally think After Effects is harder to use. As it is harder to use, I can use After Effects only for my introduction as I mentioned on my story board as well. I think it will give a good first impression for the video if I use After Effects and add some fancy effects that I cant do with IMovie, since After Effects is a program used for motion graphics.
