The Wave Sentinel is a 138.1 meter long cable laying and offshore support vessel built in 1995. It has a gross tonnage of 12,330 tons and can travel at up to 16 knots powered by 7 main engines. Its cable tanks include 3 main tanks that can each hold up to 2,600 tons of cable and 1 spare tank that can hold up to 875 tons. It was converted in 1999 to perform various offshore and subsea operations such as cable installation, maintenance, ROV support, and flexible installation work.
